Witchy Lashes Skin

Three ingredients. Nothing to react to.

1% pure hyaluronic acid. Plant-based, not animal-derived. The serum you can reach for when nothing else feels safe enough to try.

The Hyaluronic Acid Serum is the missing hydration layer that makes everything you already use work harder. Applied to damp skin and sealed with the moisturiser or oil you already love, it draws water into the surface so the products on top can finally do their job.

Three ingredients. Fragrance-free. Safe through pregnancy, breastfeeding, and treatment recovery.

Not a clone of the cheap minimalist serums, they do not talk to reactive, pregnant or recovering skin. And not the twelve-ingredient organic ones. We are simpler on purpose.

What hyaluronic acid actually does for your skin

Hyaluronic acid is the most-researched cosmetic hydrator on the market. Here is what topical use has been shown to do for the appearance of skin.

Holds water

Holds up to 1,000 times its weight in water

A single sugar molecule that binds water and holds it at the surface of the skin. This is what makes skin look and feel plumper almost immediately.

Surface hydration

Studied for improving the look and feel of skin hydration

In published cosmetic research on the ingredient, twice-daily topical hyaluronic acid has been associated with visible improvements in the appearance of skin hydration, often within the first fortnight of use.

Softens look of fine lines

Softens the look of fine lines caused by dehydration

Many of the fine lines we read as ageing are actually dehydration lines. When the skin is properly hydrated at the surface, those lines visibly soften.

Bounce and elasticity

Improves the appearance of skin firmness and bounce

With consistent use, skin looks firmer and more resilient. The visible "bounce" of well-hydrated skin is the most immediate cosmetic outcome of topical hyaluronic acid.

Slots into the routine you already have

You do not need to change a single product to use this. It goes underneath whatever you already love.

Existing moisturiser

Already use a moisturiser?

Apply the serum to damp skin first, then your moisturiser on top. The serum delivers the water, your moisturiser locks it in. Your moisturiser will absorb better and feel less heavy.

Existing serum or active

Already use a retinol, vitamin C, or other active?

Hyaluronic Acid Serum goes first on damp skin, your active goes next, then seal with moisturiser. The hydration layer underneath cushions the active, which often makes stronger products feel kinder on the skin.

Existing facial oil

Already use a facial oil?

Serum first on damp skin, oil on top to seal. Our Blue Tansy Calming Facial Oil and Retinyl Renewal Oil are built for exactly this, but any oil you already trust will work.

Fragrance-free means nothing fights the scent of what comes next. Whatever you reach for, this serum gets out of its way.

One important rule: always seal it.

Hyaluronic acid attracts water from wherever it can find it. When sealed under an oil or moisturiser, it draws water into your skin and holds it there. Left bare on the surface in dry conditions, it can do the opposite. Never wear it alone. Always layer.

Who this serum is for

Made for skin that is going through something.

If you are 45 or over and your skin feels drier and less plump than it used to, this is for you.

If you are pregnant or postpartum and most actives are off the table, this is the serum you can keep using.

If you are breastfeeding and looking for a hydrating serum that fits within feeding-safe skincare, this is for you.

If your skin is reactive, rosacea-prone, or recovering from a routine that pushed it too far, this is for you. Three ingredients means three things to react to.

If you are coming through cancer treatment and your skin is finally ready for support, this is for you. Always check with your oncology team before introducing any new product.

How to use

01

Cleanse. Leave your skin slightly damp, not dripping. Hyaluronic acid binds to the water already on your skin.

02

Pump one to two pumps into clean fingertips. Press gently into your face, neck and décolletage.

03

Immediately seal with the moisturiser or facial oil you already use. Blue Tansy on calm evenings. Retinyl on renewal evenings. Your usual moisturiser any other time. Never bare.

04

Use morning and evening. Safe through pregnancy, breastfeeding, treatment recovery, and skin's most reactive seasons.

Patch test on the inner forearm before first use. Always seal with an oil or moisturiser.

Three ingredients. Nothing else.

Full ingredient list

Aqua (Purified Water), Sodium Hyaluronate (Vegan Hyaluronic Acid), Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate*.

*Certified organic.

Purified water

The carrier. Hyaluronic acid needs water to bind to. Everything else in this bottle exists to deliver water to your skin and help it stay there.

Hyaluronic acid (vegan, plant-derived)

The hero. A sugar molecule that holds up to one thousand times its weight in water. Identical to the hyaluronic acid your skin makes naturally, sourced through bacterial fermentation rather than animal tissue.

Radish root ferment filtrate (organic)

The natural preservative. Made by fermenting organic radishes with the same family of bacteria that ferment kimchi and sauerkraut. Keeps the serum stable and safe without parabens, phenoxyethanol, or any of the synthetic preservatives the natural-skincare audience is right to be wary of.

Free from

Parabens. Sulfates (SLS and SLES). Phthalates. Synthetic fragrance. Mineral oil. PEGs. Phenoxyethanol. Formaldehyde-releasing preservatives. Artificial colour. Essential oils. Animal-derived ingredients.

A note on how it feels

The serum pumps out as a clear gel with a cooling, refreshing feel on application. No mint, no chemical tingle, just the natural coolness of the gel itself. It sinks in immediately but stays at the surface, which is exactly where it is meant to be, waiting for the oil or moisturiser that follows.

The scent is the best feature: there is none. Completely neutral, which means you can layer it under any oil or moisturiser without the scents fighting. Whatever you feel called to that evening, this serum will let it lead.

Thirty seconds later, sealed under an oil, you can feel your skin properly moisturised underneath. For skin that leans dry, this is the difference between an oil that absorbs and an oil that sits on the surface. Hydrated skin lets the rest of your routine do its job.

A note on the size

This is the Mini, our 20 ml launch size. About six to eight weeks of twice-daily use. A larger size is in the works, but we wanted this first version to be the accessible step-in for women who want to try the formula without committing to a hero-size bottle. If the Mini works for your skin, the larger size will be there when you are ready.

From Marcha, founder

This formula was developed with Caryna, a qualified Cosmetic Chemist with nearly two decades of experience in natural and botanical skincare. She chose these three ingredients because, for skin that is changing, the strongest formula is the simplest one. No competing actives. No fragrance. Just hydration, delivered cleanly.

I started Witchy Lashes seven years ago. Over the years, thousands of women have written to me about more than their lashes. They tell me their skin has started to feel drier, less plump, more reactive. They tell me they have given up on serums because every new one stings. They tell me they are tired of routines that ask for ten products when they only have energy for three.

Hydration should not be complicated. This is the simplest serum we know how to make.

Frequently asked questions

Will this replace my current serum or moisturiser?

No. This serum is a hydration layer that goes underneath your existing routine. Apply it to damp skin, then continue with whatever serum, treatment or moisturiser you already use. It is designed to make those products work harder, not replace them.

Why only three ingredients? Most serums have so many more.

Because for skin that is reactive, changing, or recovering, every additional ingredient is one more thing to react to. Most serums build complexity into the formula because they are competing on ingredient lists. We are competing on what we leave out. Three ingredients is not a shortcut. It is the discipline.

Can I really use this through pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Yes. Hyaluronic acid is one of the most-recommended hydrators for pregnancy and breastfeeding because it works at the surface of the skin. The other two ingredients (water and radish root ferment) are equally gentle. This is the serum to keep using when most of your other actives have to pause.

Why do I have to layer it? Can I just use the serum alone?

No, and this matters. Hyaluronic acid attracts water from wherever it can find it. When sealed under an oil or moisturiser, it draws hydration into your skin and holds it there. When left bare on the surface, especially in dry conditions or Australian winters, it can do the opposite and pull moisture out of your skin.

Always seal it. Our Blue Tansy or Retinyl oils are made for this. Your existing moisturiser works fine too. The rule is just: never bare on the surface.

Is this safe for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin?

For most women, yes. Three ingredients means three things to react to, the shortest possible list. No fragrance, no essential oils, no preservatives beyond radish root ferment. That said, we always recommend a patch test on the inner forearm before first use. If you have a known sensitivity to any of the three ingredients, speak with your dermatologist before trying.

Can I use this with my retinol or vitamin C?

Yes. This serum has no actives that compete with anything else in a routine. Apply it first on damp skin, then your retinol or vitamin C, then seal with oil or moisturiser. It is the layer everything else gets to build on.

Can I wear this with magnetic or adhesive lashes?

Yes, on your face, neck and décolletage. Skip the lash line on lash days. The serum is water-based and does not weaken adhesives the way oils do, but lash-line application is still best avoided to keep the bonds clean.

How long will the Mini last?

About six to eight weeks at twice-daily use. The 20 ml white airless pump dispenses one to two pumps per application, which is the right amount for face, neck and décolletage. The airless format keeps the formula fresh and uncontaminated through the life of the bottle.

Is a larger size coming?

Yes. The Mini is the launch size, designed to be the accessible way to try the formula. A larger version is in development. If you want to be told when it arrives, you can join our list at checkout.

What is your returns policy?

If this serum is not right for your skin, return it within 30 days for a full refund. Even if you have opened it. We would rather you tell us than feel stuck with something that does not suit you.

Complete the routine

Blue Tansy Calming Facial Oil

The seal-it partner for calm evenings. Layer this oil over the Hyaluronic Acid Serum on slightly damp skin. The serum delivers the hydration, the oil locks it in and calms the look of redness. This is the calm-glow finish.

Retinyl Renewal Oil

The seal-it partner for renewal evenings. Hyaluronic Acid first, then Retinyl Renewal Oil. The serum cushions the vitamin A, the oil delivers the renewal. The two layered together are far gentler than retinyl on dry skin.
