What this oil actually does for your skin
Calm, replenished, comfortable skin. Real botanicals doing what they have done in herbal tradition for centuries.
Replenishes what age takes away Skin in transition often feels drier and less comfortable, and hydration alone can stop being enough. Jojoba, macadamia, and watermelon seed oils sit beautifully on dry-feeling skin, leaving it supple instead of starved. |
Calms the look of redness on contact Blue tansy is naturally rich in chamazulene, the deep blue compound formed during steam distillation. The same compound that has made German chamomile a traditional botanical for soothing reactive skin for centuries. |
Softens the look of fine lines Watermelon seed and vitamin E support the look of smoother, more even skin. When skin is properly nourished and comfortable, fine lines visibly soften and the surface looks more rested. |
Helps shield skin from environmental stress Natural vitamin E and watermelon seed oil offer antioxidant support against the daily realities of Australian conditions. Sun, dry winds, the kind of weather that strips moisture out without telling you. |
Slots into the routine you already have
This oil is the final step. It goes over the top of whatever you already use.
Already use a serum? Apply your serum to damp skin first, then this oil on top. The serum delivers the water, the oil seals it in and calms the look of redness. Our Hyaluronic Acid Serum is built for exactly this pairing, but any water-based serum you already use will work. |
Already use a moisturiser? Press three to four drops of this oil into damp skin first, then layer your moisturiser on top. Or use it the other way around as a final layer. Both work. Your moisturiser will sit better on calmer-looking skin. |
Already using a retinol or vitamin A? Alternate this oil with your vitamin A nights. Blue Tansy on rest nights, vitamin A on renewal nights. This is the skin-cycling rhythm that lets reactive skin build tolerance gently, without ever feeling stripped or sore. |
Wearing magnetic or adhesive lashes today?
Apply this oil to your face, neck and décolletage, but skip the lash line on lash days. Like all facial oils, this one will weaken adhesive bonds. Save it for lash-free evenings, or use it as a final step after lash removal.
We would rather tell you the truth than have you wonder why your lashes lifted.
Who this oil is for
Made for women whose skin is going through something.

The hero ingredients
Blue tansy (Tanacetum annuum) The deep-blue essential oil that gives this product its name. Steam-distilled from the flower of the plant, traditionally grown in Morocco. The compound that gives the oil its colour, chamazulene, has been valued in herbal tradition for centuries. |
Jojoba Mimics your skin's natural sebum for effortless absorption. Universally tolerated, even by reactive skin. |
Macadamia Rich in oleic acid, beautifully suited to skin that drinks oil up rather than sitting on the surface. |
Watermelon seed Light, helps soften the look of fine lines, sits well on top of moisturiser. |
Lemon myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) The soft Australian native we use at a careful 0.7% to give the oil its quiet, herbaceous lift. |
Free from
Parabens. Sulfates (SLS and SLES). Phthalates. Synthetic fragrance. Mineral oil. PEGs. Formaldehyde-releasing preservatives. Artificial colour.
Important notes
This oil contains essential oils: blue tansy, lemon myrtle and petitgrain, at a combined total of under 1%. It is not designed for use during active chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or on broken or open skin. It is made for the recovery phase, when treatment is complete and your skin is settling. If you are in or near treatment, please check with your oncology team before introducing any new product.
We recommend consulting your clinician before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Patch test on the inner forearm before first use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. For external use only. Store away from direct sunlight.
A note on the scent
Blue tansy has a distinctly herbal scent. Some women love it on first sniff; others take a week to settle into it. It softens within thirty seconds of application and is gone within a few minutes. If you have used German chamomile before, you already know the family. We would rather tell you this upfront than have you open the bottle and wonder.
A note on the colour
The deep-blue colour of this oil is real. It comes from chamazulene, the compound formed when blue tansy is steam-distilled, the same compound long used in herbal traditions for sensitive and reactive skin. It is also why we bottle in clear glass with a careful storage instruction: store away from direct sunlight. Light slowly fades the colour over months. The performance does not change, but we want the bottle on your shelf to be as beautiful at month six as it was on day one.
From Marcha, founder
This formula was developed with Caryna, a qualified Cosmetic Chemist with nearly two decades of experience in natural and botanical skincare formulation. The oils in this bottle are the ones she chose for skin that has become more sensitive, more reactive, or simply different from the way it used to be.
I started Witchy Lashes seven years ago. Over the years, thousands of women have written to me about more than their lashes. They tell me about their sensitivities, the way their skin has changed, what postpartum did to it, what perimenopause did to it, what chemo did to it. This is the oil I wanted for them.
I hope it gives your skin somewhere quiet to land.

Frequently asked questions
Will this replace my current moisturiser?
No. This oil is designed to layer with the rest of your routine, not replace it. Apply your existing serum on damp skin first, press this oil in next, then follow with your moisturiser if you use one. It is the calming, replenishing layer your routine has been missing.
Can I use this oil during chemotherapy or radiotherapy?
Not during active treatment. This oil contains three essential oils, and chemo or radiation makes skin more reactive than usual. What is gentle for most skin can sting compromised skin. We have designed this for the recovery phase, after active treatment, when your skin is settling and ready for more support. Always check with your oncology team before introducing any new product, including this one.
Will it work on rosacea-prone or reactive skin?
For most women, yes. The total essential oil content in this formula is under 1%, which is a very careful level for a leave-on facial oil. Blue tansy is known for its calming feel on the skin, and we have paired it with some of the gentlest carrier oils used in skincare.
That said, reactive skin is still reactive skin. We always recommend a patch test on the inner forearm first, especially if your skin often responds to new products. If you have a known sensitivity to chamomile, daisies, or other plants in the same family, speak with your dermatologist before trying this oil.
How much essential oil is in this product?
Less than 1% combined across all three essential oils: blue tansy, lemon myrtle and petitgrain.
We kept the essential oil level intentionally low because this is a leave-on facial product, and we wanted the formula to feel gentle, not overwhelming. Lemon myrtle is used at no more than 0.7% because it is a powerful botanical, and we want it sitting quietly in the background rather than taking over.
Most of what is in this bottle, by volume, is cold-pressed seed oils chosen to nourish, soften and support dry-feeling skin.
Is this safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
We recommend caution. Blue tansy is generally avoided during pregnancy as a precaution, even though it is safe at the small amount used in this oil. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please check with your clinician before use. Our Hyaluronic Acid Serum is built for this season and is safe to use throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Can I wear this with magnetic or adhesive lashes?
Yes, on your face, neck and décolletage. Skip the lash line on lash days. All facial oils weaken magnetic and adhesive bonds, this one is no exception. Save it for lash-free evenings, or use it as a final step after you have removed your lashes for the night.
How long will one bottle last?
About two and a half to three months of twice-daily use. Approximately eighty applications. We bottle in 30 ml clear glass with a glass pipette dropper so you use exactly what you need.
How is the colour so blue?
It is real, and it is from the blue tansy. Chamazulene, the compound long valued in herbal tradition for soothing skin, is also what makes the oil this striking deep blue when freshly distilled. It is one of the few skincare ingredients where the colour itself is part of the story.
What is your returns policy?
If this oil is not right for your skin, return it within 30 days for a full refund. Even if you have opened it. We would rather you tell us than feel stuck with something that does not suit you.
