The complete Witchy Lashes Skin routine
If your skin has stopped responding to what used to work, this is the routine built for where it is now. A botanical three-step rhythm: hydrate first, calm and comfort next, then gently support skin renewal at night. Gentle enough for sensitive skin, considered enough for skin that has changed with age, hormones, stress or recovery.
The Renewal Ritual brings together three botanical-led formulas designed to work in a simple rhythm: hydrate first, calm and comfort next, then gently support skin renewal at night.
No harsh stripping. No complicated ten-step routine. Just a considered starting point for skin that has changed and wants to be treated more gently.
What is inside the ritual
Step 1, morning and night
Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Three ingredients. 1% pure hyaluronic acid, purified water, and a single natural preservative. Nothing for sensitive skin to argue with. Applied to damp skin, it draws water into the surface for visibly plumper, more comfortable skin.
Step 2, morning
Blue Tansy Calming Facial Oil
A lightweight botanical oil naturally rich in chamazulene, the same calming compound found in German chamomile. Layered with jojoba, macadamia and watermelon seed oil to soften the look of redness and bring comfort to skin that feels unsettled.
The total essential oil content is kept under 1% combined, so the formula stays deliberately low and considered for a leave-on facial oil.
Step 2, alternate nights
Retinyl Renewal Oil
Vegan vitamin A in its gentlest form, retinyl palmitate, cushioned by organic rosehip, sea buckthorn and frankincense. Supports gentle skin renewal and improves the look of uneven tone, with no break-in period and no peeling.
The softer starting point for skin that wants renewal support, but does not want to be pushed around.
Who this ritual is for
This ritual is built for skin in transition. Skin that has changed with age, hormones, stress, perimenopause, menopause, treatment recovery, or simply time.
It may be the right starting place if any of these sound familiar:
- Your skin feels drier than it used to, and richer creams sit on top instead of sinking in.
- Your skin feels tight after cleansing, even when you moisturise.
- You react to actives you tolerated easily ten years ago.
- You want vitamin A in your routine, but every retinol you have tried has burned, peeled, or made your skin worse before it got better.
- You are looking for a simple routine that hydrates, comforts and gently supports the look of smoother skin over time.
- You are recovering after cancer treatment and your oncology team has cleared you to reintroduce botanical and vitamin A skincare.
Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Blue Tansy Calming Facial Oil and Retinyl Renewal Oil contain ingredients we do not recommend during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If you are expecting or nursing, the Hyaluronic Acid Serum is available on its own and is the safest place to start.
Not designed for active chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Skin can be more reactive during treatment, and your oncology team should always guide what you use. The Hyaluronic Acid Serum may be suitable with medical sign-off. The Blue Tansy and Retinyl oils are designed for the recovery phase, after active treatment, when your team has cleared you to reintroduce botanical and vitamin A products.
How to use the ritual
The order is simple: water-based first, oil-based last.
The Hyaluronic Acid Serum gives the skin its hydration step. The oil goes over the top to help keep that comfortable feeling from disappearing too quickly.
| Step | Morning | Evening |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Cleanse | Use your usual gentle cleanser, or rinse if your skin prefers a lighter morning cleanse. | Use your usual gentle cleanser. |
| 2. Hydrate | Apply 2 to 3 drops of Hyaluronic Acid Serum to slightly damp skin. | Apply 2 to 3 drops of Hyaluronic Acid Serum to slightly damp skin. |
| 3. Seal | Press in 2 to 3 drops of Blue Tansy Calming Facial Oil. | Use Retinyl Renewal Oil on your vitamin A nights. Use Blue Tansy on the nights in between. |
| 4. Finish | Finish with sunscreen, always. Retinyl makes skin more sun-sensitive. | Let the oils settle before bed. |
If you are new to vitamin A
Start slowly with the Retinyl Renewal Oil, even though it is a gentle form of vitamin A. The goal is not to push through irritation. The goal is to let your skin meet vitamin A quietly.
- Weeks 1 to 2: Use Retinyl Renewal Oil two nights a week. Use Blue Tansy on the other nights.
- Weeks 3 to 4: Move to three nights a week if your skin feels calm.
- Week 5 onwards: Alternate Retinyl and Blue Tansy nights, or stay slower if your skin prefers that.
If your skin feels irritated, pause the Retinyl and return to Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Blue Tansy until your skin feels settled again.
What to expect over time
Gentle skincare works on its own timeline. These are realistic guideposts, not promises.
- Early on. Skin feels calmer and more hydrated. Less tightness after cleansing.
- After several weeks. Visible reduction in the look of redness. Skin looks plumper and more even.
- With continued use. Skin tone looks more uniform. Texture feels smoother. Makeup sits better.
If your skin becomes red, itchy, hot, stingy or irritated, stop using the active oil and return to the simplest part of the ritual. If irritation continues, speak with your GP, dermatologist or healthcare provider.
A note from the founder
I built Witchy Lashes Skin because the products that worked on my skin in my twenties stopped making sense as my skin changed.
My skin wanted more comfort, but not heaviness. More support, but not aggressive actives. More care, but not a routine so complicated I could only keep it up for three nights.
Skin changes for so many reasons. Pregnancy. Postpartum. Perimenopause. Menopause. Treatment. Stress. Time. The skin you had at 25 is not always the skin you have at 45, and I don't think skincare should make you feel like that is a problem to apologise for.
The Renewal Ritual is the routine I wanted: water first, comfort second, gentle renewal when the skin is ready.

Questions you might have
Can I use this if my skin is sensitive or reactive?
Possibly, but please patch test first. The Hyaluronic Acid Serum is the gentlest starting point because it is simple and water-based. The Blue Tansy and Retinyl oils are formulated with a low total essential oil concentration, under 1% combined across the full formula, but reactive skin can still react to natural ingredients. Patch test on the inner arm before applying to your face.
I have tried retinol before and my skin hated it. Will this be different?
It may be a gentler starting point. The Retinyl Renewal Oil uses retinyl palmitate, a milder cosmetic form of vitamin A, in a nourishing oil base. It is designed for people who want to introduce vitamin A slowly. If you have reacted badly to retinol, retinaldehyde or prescription tretinoin before, start with one patch test, then one night a week, and build only if your skin feels calm.
Can I use the bundle if I wear false eyelashes?
Yes. Use the Hyaluronic Acid Serum freely, including around the eye area. Keep Blue Tansy and Retinyl Renewal Oil below the lash line on days you are wearing magnetic or adhesive lashes, as facial oils can weaken both lash systems.
I had cancer treatment. Is this safe for me?
Please follow your oncology team's guidance first. The Hyaluronic Acid Serum may be suitable during or after treatment with medical sign-off. The Blue Tansy and Retinyl oils are designed for the recovery phase after active treatment, when your team has cleared you to reintroduce botanical and vitamin A products. Bring the full ingredient lists to your oncology team if you are unsure.
Is the ritual cheaper to buy as a bundle?
The Renewal Ritual is priced as the complete routine. We do not build our brand around discount codes or inflated pricing. What the ritual gives you is the right combination, the right order, and clear usage guidance, so you can start without guessing.
How long does the ritual last?
For most people, the Hyaluronic Acid Serum lasts around six to eight weeks. The Blue Tansy and Retinyl Renewal Oils usually last around two to three months each when used as directed. Most people will replenish the full ritual roughly every ten weeks, depending on how much they use.
What is your returns policy?
